1. The Service

Personal PDF Companion ("the Service") is operated by Alphaloom Limited, a company registered in Nigeria.

The Service allows you to upload PDF documents and use AI to ask questions, generate summaries, quizzes, flashcards, and other study materials based on those documents.

2. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority where you live) to use the Service.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of the documents you upload.

By uploading content, you confirm that you have the legal right to upload it and to allow us and our service providers to process it for the purpose of providing the Service.

You must not upload content that is illegal, infringes another person's intellectual property rights, contains malware, or violates applicable laws.

4. AI-generated content

AI-generated answers, summaries, quizzes, flashcards, and other study materials are produced automatically and may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or mistakes.

You are responsible for verifying important information against your original documents before relying on it, especially for legal, medical, financial, academic, or safety-related matters.

5. Free and paid plans

We may offer free and paid plans with different usage limits. Available plans, pricing, allowances, and features are displayed on the Billing page.

Unless stated otherwise, purchased usage credits remain available until used and additional purchases are added to your existing balance.

Future pricing may change without affecting credits that have already been purchased.

6. Payments and refunds

Payments are securely processed by Flutterwave. We never collect or store your full payment card or banking details.

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload unlawful or harmful content.
• Attempt to bypass usage limits or payment requirements.
• Reverse engineer or interfere with the Service.
• Upload malicious software or attempt unauthorized access.
• Use the Service in violation of applicable laws.

We may suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

8. Storage and usage limits

We may apply reasonable limits on uploaded file size, number of documents, storage capacity, or usage to ensure reliable operation of the Service. These limits may change over time.

9. Availability

We strive to keep the Service available and reliable but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service when necessary, with reasonable notice where practical.

10. Intellectual property

Except for the content you upload, all software, branding, logos, designs, and other intellectual property relating to Personal PDF Companion remain the property of Alphaloom Limited or its licensors.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranties that the Service will always be accurate, uninterrupted, secure, or free from errors.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alphaloom Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or relating to your use of the Service.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or where required by law.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict of law principles.

16. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
