Cookie Policy
Last updated: 19 July 2026
We use a small number of cookies and similar local storage — no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies of any kind.
Essential session cookie
When you sign in, we set one httpOnly cookie (named __session) that keeps you signed in between visits. It's strictly necessary for the service to function — without it, you'd need to sign in again on every page. It can't be read by JavaScript and isn't used for tracking or advertising.
Local browser storage
Firebase Authentication (our sign-in provider) stores your session token in your browser's local storage rather than a cookie. We also store one small preference — whether you've collapsed the library sidebar — in local storage, purely so it stays collapsed the next time you visit. Neither is used for tracking.
Third-party cookies
Our payment processor, Flutterwave, may set its own cookies on its hosted checkout page when you make a purchase — that page is operated by Flutterwave, not us. See Flutterwave's own privacy and cookie policy for details.
Managing cookies
Because the session cookie is strictly necessary, blocking it will prevent you from staying signed in. You can clear cookies and local storage at any time through your browser's settings.
